In August, some of the BADU young people were chosen to model the new Nike ‘Running Thoughts’ collection by London visual artist Joy Yamusangie. The collection is inspired by Joy’s experiences running and living in Hackney over lockdown, making our young leaders Naomi, Condi, Zeniece, Joel and Korede the perfect people to model these vibrant new pieces. These pieces share the stories of what it is like to run and inspire confidence in the next generation of artists and runners just in time for Hackney Moves this weekend.
